As Pittsburgh prepares to welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors for the 2026 NFL Draft, IRETA is proud to partner with Onala Recovery Center on an initiative that ensures recovery and public health are part of the city’s game plan.
Large-scale events can be especially challenging for individuals in recovery or those struggling with substance use. Through this partnership, IRETA and Onala are working with local hotels across the region, equipping front desk staff with discreet resource cards that connect guests to recovery meetings, referrals, crisis support, and harm reduction resources throughout the weekend.
This effort reflects IRETA’s ongoing commitment to education, prevention, and compassionate, evidence-informed responses to substance use, especially during moments when access to support can make a critical difference.
