Description

This webinar covers the theoretical, clinical, and empirical roots of multidimensional family therapy (MDFT), the key components of MDFT, intervention actions, as well as stages of parenting interventions.

Presenter

Cynthia L. Rowe, Ph.D. is the Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health at the University of Miami). Her areas of interest include the examination of subtypes of adolescent substance abusers, the application of developmental psychopathology research in understanding intervention design and treatment’s effects, prevention and treatment approaches for children of substance abusing parents, and the role of psychiatric co-morbidity in adolescent drug treatment process and outcomes.
