Every year, we clump our staff together for a holiday photo, a tradition that might seem pointless if we stopped to think about it–but we don’t. It’s a tradition and that’s all there is to it.
At least a few staff members may have started wondering why we do this last Wednesday as they trooped bravely through the streets of downtown Pittsburgh to pose for our annual photo. With the windchill, the temperature was 6 degrees Fahrenheit.
Of course, we do it to send warm wishes to all of our supporters–to you! It’s a privilege to be connected to so many terrific people who care about improving individual and system-level responses to addiction. Through chattering teeth, we wish you a happy, healthy holiday season.
